With so many different releases
of the Mack Superliner, there is
something for everyone, from
the custom configured and
decorated rigs to the standard
colors. Let’s start our look at
the available releases with the
Tackaberry’s Heavy Hauling
rig, finished in an overall red
color with black trim and gold
pin lines.
An exact copy of the original
truck, Heavy Haul Replicas has
gone the extra mile to ensure
that the smallest of details have
been replicated, from the
accurate printing of the
company details on the cabin
doors to the number plates
front and back.

The chassis incorporates sprung axles to provide
suspension movement which works well, while the
front axle has a good range of steering movement.
The hood tips forward a full 90 degrees to allow all
the interior detailing of the engine bay to be seen,
while the cabin doors can be opened to reveal the
fully kitted out interior.

The configuration includes a pair of air intakes,
one on each side of the engine bay and twin
exhausts with photo-etch heat shielding. Behind
the cabin, we find a storage rack populated with
chains while the fifth-
wheel coupling has
an operating latch
with flexible service
lines modelled.
