This configuration incorporates a winch behind the cabin which is fully operational, allowing the length of pre-
wound rope to be extended, while the detachable ballast box lifts off the chassis to reveal the fifth-wheel coupling
plate allowing various trailers to be hitched up for an alternative pose on the shelf.
Naturally, opening cabin doors and hinged hood panels are incorporated into the engineering, revealing the
interior detailing of the cabin and engine bay, which leaves nothing to the imagination. The paint finish is to a
very high standard throughout, as on all the heavy haul Mack trucks produced to date. While a surprise, this was
a very welcome release from Heavy Haul Replicas and hits at what is possible in a 1:50th scale replica.
